Save a web page
In Page
view, do one of the following:
Save a web page to the current web site
 |
Do one of the following, depending on
the status of your web page:
The page has not yet been saved
 |
Click
Save |
 |
Navigate to the location in the
web site where you want to save the page. |

In the
File name box, type the file name of the page, and then click
Save. |
The page was opened from the current
web site
 |
Click
Save . |
The page was opened from a
location outside the current web site
 |
Click
Save As on the File menu.

Navigate to the location in the
web site where you want to save the page. |

In the
File name box, type the file name of the page, and then click
Save. |

Save a web page to a different web site
 |
On the File
menu, click Save As. |
 |
Navigate to the web site in which you
want to save the page. |
 |
In the
File name box, type the name of the page. |
 |
If you want to change the page title,
click Change, type the new title, and
then click OK. |

Click Save.

Save a web page to a file system
 |
On the File
menu, click Save As. |
 |
Navigate to the location in the file
system where you want to save the page. |
 |
In the
File name box, type the name of the page. |
 |
Click Save.

Save a web page automatically before
previewing in the browser
 |
On the File
menu, click Preview in Browser,
and then select the
Automatically save page check box. |
